"KC" is my biggest drawing to date, with the original piece measuring 24" x 36". It was so big I had to nail it to my dining room wall! The owner of the horse was a regular at the tack shop where I worked part time, and she had been fond of my work since I shared my portfolio with her. Eventually she asked to commission a drawing. She showed me several photos of her horse, and I was immediately drawn to the composition of the reference image for this piece."
